HISTORY OF P.R. & TAINOS INDIANS
Tainos Indians were originally from America, first to inhabit Puerto Rico sometimes in the 1400's.
Columbus arrived in the second voyage the new world.
Spanish explorer Juan Ponce DeLeon founded the village of caparra in 1508 they name him the governer of the island on 1509 by the Spain.
*The city of San Juan was named for ST.John the Baptist and the island was named Puerto Rico..
